Anaanya Poddar is an industrial designer and multidisciplinary artist driven by storytelling, human-centered thinking, and contemporary innovation. Her practice blends fine art with functional design, grounded in human factors and design for manufacturing, and explores how ritual, materiality, and emotion shape meaningful modern objects and experiences. She is interested in creating work that balances artistic expression with purposeful problem-solving, crafting projects that connect culture, aesthetics, and real-world impact. Outside the studio, Anaanya is deeply involved in student leadership as the College of Art and Design Senator in Student Government, engaging with creative communities and building spaces where people, ideas, and design come together.
